You know why I can't take this subreddit seriously? Because half of you write essays about how you talked to a girl and *gasp*....got her number! Oh wow! Good for you!

A girl gives her number out often, much more than you expect, especially if she's attractive. She also probably ignores/expects nothing from most of the guys who hit on her. Getting a girl's number means nothing in this day and age. It used to be kind of a private thing, but we live in the internet age: everyone's personal details are spilling all over the internet and people maintain a large social circle of acquaintances. Girls have changed the way they use phones. It's no longer a direct line to a girl, but more so a filter: a way to respond to some people but ignore others, yet still be polite when asked for it.

My recommendations: Either the mods start cracking down on these pointless FRs that are ruining this subreddit (we should create another subreddit where people post FRs so this one can be cleared of these bullshit exaggerated stories), or these nerdy redditors calling themselves "alpha" wake the fuck up and realize you are not special for talking to one girl and maybe opening up the slight possibility that she'll think about picking up when you maybe call her.
