First of all, your definition of "creepy" needs to be addressed here. Going direct on a girl and telling her why you are talking to her is NOT creepy, it's HONEST. What's creepy is when you go up to a woman you are interested in and hide your sexuality for her and try to manipulate and avoid "rejection". This is why men get rejected, because a womans biggest need is safety and on top of that they are VERY intuitive. So when you like a woman she KNOWS you like her, but when you try to hide your intentions because you're scared of rejection THEN you become creepy to the girl because now she's thinking "this guy isn't even man enough to admit that he likes me! and he thinks im gonna like him regardless!"

You should only compliment when you are genuinely impressed. Don't just say shit to make her feel good. In fact, a good exercise would be to walk around complimenting random girls on shit you think is good. Just walk up, compliment and walk away. Do that 3 times.

Well I think complements are appropriate if they don't break the flow of conservation.

Say a girl likes soccer. And she's telling you how she learned to juggle a soccer ball. You can tell her how you think that is an impressive skill, make some comment about coordination, etc, and that gives her an opening to respond or expand.

Of course the context is really what matters. Probably shouldn't open with a complement a lot though. I try to avoid that.

Edit: If the glasses are kinda stylish and it goes with the flow of conversion.

Personally my INSTINCTS have always been to compliment hot girls and so i've always done it, even before hearing about 'game', however, my results with girls have always been very bad.

Also, lots of apparent gurus seems to be very much against any kind of compliment. One of them told me off in a field report on a forum recently for opening a girl by telling her that I liked her glasses (which i did! lol)

Not really sure what to think now. Too much conflicting advice.
