I'm 5'4, so I know the feeling.

I like wearing lift shoes, they can get you on average at least 2 inches in height(most of it hidden in the shoe).

With that said, I don't think they really make a difference to your game. I feel more comfortable, and I don't think about my height much anymore, but it isn't going to help your pick up. You still need to go out and practice and get confident on your own terms. Once pick up becomes second nature to me, I think I'm going to ditch the shoes.

These sites have a lot of different styles of lift shoes, but I like these ones and these ones for casual day game.

They also have a wide variety of formal shoes as well. Most of them give you about 2.25 inches and don't look funky.

Girls wear push up bras, makeup, high heels, so it isn't that big of a deal for guys to wear lifts.

There are a lot of comments here but very little practical advice... but I think I can help.

Me, I'm 6'2", so clearly, I don't have this problem. But my closest friend, and best goddamn wingman in the world (tm), is 5'5" (1.65m, so smaller than you), stocky, and a ginger. But the motherfucker pulls tail like you wouldn't believe. After a few years of the two of us going out together and wrecking shop, I've got a good idea as to why.

Confidence is obviously key. It is the biggest thing that will attract a woman to you. This guy has every comeback/witty reply to "Oh my god you're so short!" that you can think of.

"Nah, I'm just fun sized!"
"Nope, you're just too tall!"
"...and?"
(To me) "She's an observant one, isn't she!?"

You get the idea. If someone makes a comment about his height, he genuinely does not give a single fuck. He doesn't wear lifted shoes, he doesn't try to appear taller in any way, he is who he is, and he's incredibly comfortable in his skin. There isn't shit he can do about his height, so why worry about it?

Next up, he's the life of the party. Without fail, every single time we walk in to a bar/club/house party/anywhere that we may want to strike up a conversation with women, he is invariably smiling from the moment he walks in. He's outgoing and talks to everyone as if they've been friends for years. I always thought it seemed... fake. But it's not. That's just how he is, and now how I've become (at least when I want to be that way). From cashiers to bartenders to servers and stockboys, it's always

"Hey how are ya buddy?"
"Thanks a lot babe, you're the best!"
"Hey man, how've you been?"

Always with a smile, and a real sense of... genuineness, I suppose, to his voice. That word is there again and I think it is key to the whole things. He's genuine. There is no doubt that if he talks to you, strikes up a conversation, shakes your hand or says thank you that he means it. He honestly wants to be friends with everyone he meets, and it shows in his attitude.

This guy is the reason I broke out of my shell a few years ago and became the person I am today. He had never read the game until somewhat recently, didn't know shit about pickup, but some time ago was sick of the person he was (very overweight, shy, and awkward), and completely turned himself around on his own accord. His game, at this point, is fairly natural. He seems to do everything right, and when I go out with him, the two of us are damn near unstoppable.

A few months ago, we'd go out once a week, just the two of us, to a few local spots, and every single week we'd have, at the very least, a K-close. There wasn't a single night in a 2.5 month span when we went out that we went home empty handed, and I'll be the first to say he carried most of the weight.

I'm short and I make it work for me. Short men can do something tall men can't, which is to make eye-contact with women from an equal height. Make some good jokes about it and turn it into your pick-up. When women tell me they just want to "pick me up and put me in their pocket", I say "tell me more." Tall men don't necessarily have an advantage. Many women tell me that tall men 1) "remind them of their fathers", or 2) intimidate them physically. Automatically you aren't their dad or a rapist, so you're doing well.

I always thought I would fall for/prefer a tall guy, my guy is about that tall too, which is about my height, and I couldn't care less. Just learn to be comfortable/confident in who you are, that's what us girls usually want to see and will be attracted to. If you aren't comfortable with yourself, how can we expect you to be the guy we need?

So, I'm 1.73 and I've spent quite some time in Scandinavia... and I've got laid so many times I've lost count. I'm not sure if there's a trick: I'm a pretty successful dude, I'm extremely smart and I know how to game (sorry if it sounds like bragging but what's the point? Nobody knows me on the internet). That gives me quite some confidence... once you have that, height's not a problem anymore. I once slept with a girl at least 190cm tall (and I have to say that wasn't as awesome as I imagined it to be beforehand). Height is a problem only if you think it is.

I'm not a short guy, but here's what I would do.

-save pictures of famous celebrities your height or shorter with hot women

-buy height raising shoes (worth it, you'll feel great)

-get so good at gaming that your height becomes obsolete (hard but possible)

-make a lot of money and look/act like it (or just dress really well)

-work out a lot so you could still think of yourself as a 'big guy'

-invert the problem..hang out with only shorter guys or get a wheel chair
