the reason there's confusion is because people try to crowbar in rules and a system into something that doesn't work like that. That's why all the 'experts' disagree and contradict each other every 5 seconds. They backwards rationalise what 'worked' without realising she was just into him! She just needs to think you're hot/be attracted.

And from that point, going direct is fine. And so is being more aloof. Basically everything works if you're her type. And nothing will work if you're not (same as a girl who you aren't attracted too trying to 'game' you)

So don't overthink any of it. Just approach in a way that feels most natrual to you and shoot your shot/find out if she's into you or not. If you're nott her type, move on to the next girl

everyone should start doing some chadfishing experiments online so that you can see for yourself how this all works lol. It's quite eye opening

They're not mutually exclusive. You can show intent yet have low investment. Like flirt with her but if she doesn't reciprocate you can just move on without a problem.

The solution with be to imply interest without outright saying you want a date. Just be joking around and slip in a comment about you being interested, but maybe she's not worth the trouble l, we'll see. Remember, if you are comfortable and not desperate, you aren't losing value when showing interest
