So through a strange series of events I'm the wheels for some family friends to a large Anime Convention in Baltimore next weekend. I don't actually have to keep track of them in the convention so I don't really have much to do other than game.

I've heard that these things are a goldmine, but I've never actually been to a convention of any sort. I have enough general internet knowledge to sort of hold a conversation on anime, but other than that I've got no idea.

I'm not really sure what the mood/mindset is of most of the people here, I'm looking for any tips from people who have experience with these kinds of events.
