"Guess" is all it says on the bottle. Silver bottle, green plastic that contains the actual cologne in the middle. Shaped like a "G".

Walked out of a gross fast food kitchen covered in grease and liquid shit, had a cute blonde friend catch a whiff of it somewhere underneath all the crap and immediately grab me and pull me in - greasy apron and everything - to get a better smell.

Gotten in to cars with both women and men and had them tell me I smell amazing. Many, many times.

Oh, and as an added bonus: Unlike most cologne that tastes like ass, this stuff actually tastes like honey when it's dry on your skin (so says my ex).

Go for Diesel-only the brave. While the scent is very subtle and does not get noticed frequently, it has something to it that gives you some kind of crazy rockstar confidence.

Tuscanny is my favorite, but it's discontinued. Macy's carries a Burberry Brit Special Edition that's fantastic, the Dolce and Cabana original fragrance is exceptional, The new Gucci for men is also in my top 5.

Good luck, I'm pretty sure if you go out and don't smell like body odor, have fresh breath, you'll be ok.

I would recommend finding 5 or 6 that you like if price isn't a constraint if so maybe try to get one every couple months. I personal recommend are Aqua di Gio, Black XS, Sexual, Hearts and Daggers(even though it is Ed Hardy it is still pretty good), Unforgivable, and The One.

Woman here. Whatever you choose, please for the love of God put it on lightly. The quickest way to make a woman not want to be around you is having a cloud of cough-inducing shit hovering around you.

Also, I really like when men wear old spice spray deodorant. It seems to be the least overwhelming and goes with your natural smell more than "colognes" tend to, IMO.

Essential oils are a nice alternative to colognes. I have a vial of Kiehls brand "musk" that I dab on my wrists, neck, and behind my ears everyday.

You can't smell it unless you're within kissing distance, so it's not likely to overwhelm any passersby. But I've found that once a woman is close enough to catch a whiff she is enraptured by it and feels compelled to come in closer for a better sniff. In effect, the scent prompts her to kino escalate ME.

I prefer to wear the same scent everyday because I want to create a strong psychological connection between my scent and my presence. More than one woman has told me that catching a whiff of my "musk" on another man or even in a perfume shop has rekindled memories of our time together and brought her into a state of arousal. I call that chemical warfare ;)

I remember sitting in class at a community college and this huge dude next to me smelled amazing. Felt a little awkward asking him what it was but he was cool about it and said all the ladies love Acqua Di Gio. Been wearing it for the last 10 years. Probably should look into something else just for a change.

meh. it's the kind of thing that you will get a compliment on only after you've generated attraction. not that you shouldn't be smellin' sexy, just doubt it's a significant advantage.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned "Curve (for men)", made by Liz Claiborne. I found this stuff in 9th grade [about 8 years ago], and of the three [long] relationships I've had in that time. They have all mentioned a distinct attraction to its smell, and truly loved it when I wore it.

Female here. I've been getting into perfume lately and have learned a ton by doing a little research on the internet and going out and getting samples. My first piece of advice would be to get samples. Sephora (the store in the mall where the girls flock to buy their makeup) will give you free samples of some of the cologne there. I loved Marc Jacobs and HeWood by dsquared. Or, you can really impress the ladies with a hard to find niche perfume. I highly, highly, highly recommend going to luckyscent.com, and ordering some samples, each averaging about $3 a 1 ml vial. For about $30 you can get quite a variety of different scents to try out in the real world. A cheaper way to smell like a million bucks. These perfumes aren't cheap but a little goes a very long way. Seriously. Everyone's body chemistry is different, therefore they react to different scents differently. Get some bitches, take them cologne shopping. spray some on sample sheets. Take the top two and put one on each wrist. Walk around store for 10 min and then sniff. Choose winner. Apply at next party, fuck bitches.

I wear deodorant, but don't wear cologne. I'm not generally planning on smelling like I've just been working out, so I usually let my natural body odor do the work, as I hear that our natural odors play a large part in subconscious attraction.

I get told I smell good regardless.
