Honestly, I can't say that I'm bad with women. I'm a good looking guy so I think that definitely helps. I generally have, when I'm actually trying, at least one woman per week to date. However, I've noticed a seriously crippling problem in my behaviour: I am far too validation-seeking. I can tell this comes across as needy sometimes because girls generally don't stick around for very long unless it's a girl I've not been particularly invested in and they want more.

I'm in the process of reading 'No More Mr. Nice Guy' as I understand that seeking approval and validation all the time is a classic trait of a 'Nice Guy' but is there anything else I can do to work on this flaw?

Ideally, I'd like to be a fucking rock who isn't swayed by disapproval or a woman not validating my needs. I want to be the kind of man that is stalwart in what he knows and what he believes. At the moment I'm the opposite: I feel like if I'm not bringing value or impressing somebody, it really rocks my mood.
