You don't have the practice your social skills on the pretty girls you can practice with anyone. Your biggest problem at the moment is just talking so talk with people you're not attracted to. Practice just starting conversations with anyone. If you're in a store ask a woman with some fruit in her basket where the fruit aisle is. If you're in a library ask an old lady if the library opens at weekends. Ask some random guy in the street if there are any decent bars in the area.

Talk to everyone you see and you'll slowly get better at talking to people and since pretty girls are people too it'll prepare you for that.

Don't limit your "training" to only women you find attractive, practice with every women, try to get a "not attractive" women to flirt with you.

I’ve seen a few comments that say something similar to what I’m about to say, but I’m also going to add a bit of my own experiences to it.

First, I think it’s good to know what you want. You know you aren’t after sex, or at least it’s not the main thing you’re after. I agree with the other commenters who have pointed out that you should consider talking to women you’re not necessarily physically attracted to. For a couple reasons, 1. More attractive women are put in a position to be way more socialized from an early age and you may end up feeling intimidated by your own shortcomings there 2. Obviously less attractive women aren’t sexless, but they understand that they have to work a bit more for it and not just rely on their looks, again, you may feel less pressure to “act” a certain way because of this. It’s a nice combo when you think about it, two less socialized people with not as much pressure to have sex right away.

You may not like the idea of speaking with women you’re not attracted to, but trust me, if your personalities click, the attraction will follow in a lot of cases.

You also may want to consider focusing on male friendships in order to help you better socialize. I wish I did when I was younger. I was only focused on women (and felt more comfortable around them) and because of that my male friendships, and to the same extent, my social skills were stunted. My sincere and honest advice for someone struggling with social skills: don’t let women be your main outlet for socialization. Seek friendships with both men and women, and the romantic components (and your self confidence) will likely follow

you learned at the expense of an option = youre next option will be more likely to turn out better in your favor. If it doesn’t then learn from that one too.

Im in the same boat, execpt i used to work customer facing in retail and worked through covid and now i hate talking to people😅
