I guess there were two moments for me, but after these events things just clicked with girls.

1.) Getting flat out rejected on a kiss for the first time. When I was an AFC, I had to be absolutely positively sure that a girl was into me and would respond before I made a move. This one time I just epicly failed (No escalation, just went for it. Don't know what I was thinking). She got awkward real fast, but at that moment I realized... rejection isn't a big deal. I simply didn't care. All those negative scenarios you come up with are just your AFC-self holding you back. You have to put yourself out there and not care what happens either way.

2.) At a party. Doing better with girls, but still not nearly as good as I am now. I was chatting with this chick who I wasn't that interested in, so didn't feel much reservation about the situation. About a minute into the conversation I ask "so where do you live?" Her: "Oh I'm from Arizona, just here for the weekend visiting friends." Me: "Oh so what does that make me? Just that cute boy you hooked up with in [place]?" Her (confused): "What? We haven't even hooked up yet." Me: kiss. We made out for a while, but then I saw another girl I knew who I was into and ran off - no longer an AFC. It was a small achievement in the long run, but I felt like a fucking rockstar.

These events happened after months of reading PUA material but not implementing it. I sort of run a natural game now, but learning to deal with rejection and acting like every girl wants me is what changed things around. My current girlfriend (HB9, smart, funny girl who I would've thought completely out of my league a year ago) turned me down the first time I tried to kiss her. I brushed it off like nothing and sealed the deal a few days later.

My advice to beginners: JUST PUT YOURSELF OUT THERE.
