Decent conversation skills but i will get bored. How to make conversations more enjoyable?

Maybe you're talking to girls who are not challenging you enough. They are boring so you find it boring and the conversation forced. If that's the case then you should try moving up a level or two with women. Look for aspiring professional or entrepreneurial women. Women you could learn something from (and I don't mean in bed - although if they can teach you something in bed too - that's a bonus).

If you're bored with life, then you're not pushing yourself out of your comfort zone enough. Find 1 thing everyday which feels uncomfortable and do it. Then tell a girl about it. Or better yet, maybe do it with her. As far as conversations specifically, try making random assumptions about her. Then play around and don't tell her why. It creates tension and excitement. But beyond talking, try to do things with her that are exciting and direct the focus away from just sitting looking at each other and talking. Doing stuff like that creates a better bond between the two of you anyway.

Any conversation worth having had to be interesting...I ignore most phone calls for this reason, because they’re generally chit chat convos. Now if a friend has something interesting to tell me or needs advice, this is when I’m most engaged. So tap into things that are interesting and fun, keep subjects short. My favourite conversations are the ones where one says “how did we even get onto this topic” this is because the convo has naturally and quickly drifted from topic to topic. But it takes 2 to tango as well.

Also note conversation is a two way thing. Let her invest. Add pauses or use open ended question to let her invest, if its still boring then maybe you are not the problem, she is just boring person.

Are you getting numbers and dates? If no then you are not taking enough risk. If yes then go for hotter girls.

Talk about things that interest you. If I'm on a date and the conversation is going nowhere I'll start taking about skiing or my job or something that I could talk for hours and not get bored. Although i might add, you need to adapt to the situation because once I went on a date with a girl and talked for 2 hours about philosophy and theoretical physics, she sat there absorbing nothing and needless to say, I did not get another date.

One thing that has helped me is simply asking "why". For example if she says her favorite book is 1984 just ask her why. it kills some time and shows confidence. Also talk about travelling. That's a topic that always gets me far.
