I completely disagree, my mothers lied to the police to have me arrested twice, she lied to her friends and family to make me look like a psycho and gain sympathy, she cut up my drivers licence in a fit of rage. She convinced me my dad was evil then I actually got to know him, he’s been my best friend ever since. She argues and tries to one up on my wife constantly. She made me the family donkey responsible for everything but with no authority or final say on anything (slave) she provokes us physically and verbally and when we react we become the bad guys and she plays victim, (which she always conveniently forgets that she initiates) my stories are endless, so in conclusion no, absolutely not, my mother is not above me, she’s dragged me down to her level after years of physical and psychological abuse. I’d say we’re about even.

Well a mother doesn't really have a choice. no matter how bad you behave, chances are that a responsible mother will do her duty to raise you and help you get on your feet, but everyone's patience has a limit.

If you don't learn from your mother, you will not be able to form a meaningful connection and have a family, which will lead to a very sad and lonely final part of your life, once she's gone.

So don't take mothers love for granted. Realize that if she had a choice she would probably do what all the other women in your life do to you.
