It's absolutely a myth you have to be a 10% man to get anything. Just logically, that doesn't make sense. It's true for some parts, if you're looking to sleep with 100s of women through tinder, you won't get around being extremely attractive. That's just how life works.
But finding anyone to date isn't that hard or how else does the fat dude from accounting do it? You get the point. The thing is, most people online fail at really the most important point: Interacting with women all the time. You can improve all you want, be super fit, rich and succeful and still get nothing. But you can also not have all that and still be successful with women.
The vast majority of women are very normal people, they don't have 50k followers on instagram, they don't sleep with a different guy from tinder every day, they just live a normal live and are looking for a normal partner.
I can guarantee you, the Kindergartner has 0 problems finding someone, if he has at least some basic social skills. Why? Because there's a ton of women he works with every day. Same for the bartender, waiter, whatever.
The IT guy (and I'm stereotyping here) on the other hand, trys to play a completely different game he can never win. Sit at home or the office with 95% guys trying his luck on tinder. And those are the people that naturally post the most on the internet too.

I feel you, but in the end it's a choice you have to make. If you like what you're doing then you'll have to accept it will be difficult to find someone. Not because you're worse or your lifestyle is, but simply because the possibilities are quite low. Maybe you'll find someone on Tinder, it's not like that's impossible or maybe there'll be some coworker or friend you hit it off with.
The question is, can you do something that's within your lifestyle that would expose you to more people? Can you go to some work related events, games conventions, sports, whatever it is you like, but add a social aspect to it. Sure maybe at board game night you won't find a ton of girls, but that's still infinitely better than none.

Women are liars. They say nice things like this to make themselves seem virtuous and kind and feel better about themselves, but at the end of the day, they will go for the hot dude.

I mean you can say the same about men. Looks is a big portion of the equation when it comes to attractiveness. No need to demonize either sex for wanting to have sex with a good looking partner
[–]n0wmhat 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Not wrong, but at least men dont pretend otherwise
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Men definitely pretend otherwise. More than half the guy here lie to themselves how ugly they are, how despicably annoying they are to interact with, how they perceive women (so they can justify why they can’t get laid).
Also a majority of politicians are men, and politicians are the biggest lying scumbags of all time. So those politicians covered the lying for the rest.

Humans talk a better game than their actions do.
Just make sure you working on YOU at all times. Health & wealth shit. The matches are everywhere but if your not on your shit the matches won’t appear.
[–]sidbunch6 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link
it's still difficult to find a match - be that on dating apps or even when asking people out in real life.
cold approach is simply tinder, but in person, tbh
[–]atomant88 3 points4 points5 points 3 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
no way. on tinder people dont read your bio. its 100% looks based. cold approach? i can use my personality. its way easier to pick up.
[–]sidbunch6 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
but even in cold approach, you need looks to get you in the door (and game to close it)
[–]atomant88 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
the bar for looks is so much lower tho. like if youre average then its all good in cold approach, as long as you have some game

meh. play the numbers game. set your standards accordingly.
[–]atomant88 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Hmmm somewhat. You can def do a lot to make more people want to be gamed by you. But ultimately you're always gonna need the numbers game too.
Who reads your bio to cold approach lmfao
[–]domdomdom333 -3 points-2 points-1 points 3 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
Because still so many people are below the already low standard.
For example, all I'm asking for a girl is to: Not smoke, No tattoos, Max weight 70kg~.
But even with these 3 things it's too much. Haven't matched with anyone in the last few years.
[–]no_one_lies 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
If that’s in your bio for your tinder profile it makes you come off as incredibly shallow. Instead of listing of your physical preferences in your bio, swipe on them. Use your bio to show of your fun side/advertise yourself
[–]domdomdom333 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I never state my preferences in my bio.
Just no point in me mentioning subjective things like beliefs, politics and manners in my comment as they have no tangible meaning to someone else. Objective, easily measurable things like weight are easier to compare, weigh and understand.
All those girls are asking you to not be awkward, not be ugly, and dress like you arent homeless. Not a lot to ask for. Yet here you are.
[–]domdomdom333 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I'm not homeless so that just leaves ugly and awkward. Not sure how much of that I can change without meeting people.
You can work on those things easy. Dont take what Im saying as an inevitable. Just an honest assessment.
Its not my dude
If you're relying on luck then yeah you're doing something wrong

Dating apps are superficial regardless of what others say. You’re judging people based on pictures. There are subs for each app that encourage users to post and get feedback on their profiles - I’d try it out. You can create a fake Reddit profile for that post if you don’t want it linked back to you too.
Best of luck.
Because people lie
