I basically agree with this.
There's also the self-image aspect of lying. OP is basically saying to himself, 'Im the sort of guy who has to lie to get laid.'
Ironically, his view is pretty skewed and not even that useful. He could just as easily be telling himself and the girls he's with, 'Im the sort of guy who naturally dates multiple women at one time.'
In the latter case, it comes down to value. Do you really think Leonardo DiCaprio has to lie to chicks or falsely promise to be monogamous to sleep with them? Of course not.

Just no. You’re trying to deflect and turn this around on the woman when all it does is make you look stupid. If you were that concerned for your health you wouldn’t do hookups, much less unprotected ones. Because if you used protection her lying about her STD status really wouldn’t matter.

Monkeypox are not an STD. And true herpes can spread even with a condom though it does offer protection and anybody with some common sense wouldn’t have sex with someone who has obvious sores indicating an active outbreak.
