Tbh most girls don’t even look at my profile. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been on a date and she doesn’t know my height, my hometown or any other info I’ve put on my profile.
They pretty much are only talking to me because I’m a ‘hot guy’.
It’s the way the apps work imo.

Tinder is a piece of shit. Bumble is pretty bad too. A lot of fake/not active profiles on both. Hinge is a little better.
I was on a hinge date last night and made out with the girl on the subway home. Who knows if there’ll be a second date. So it does work to an extent.

My profile only has a line stating my height. One pic dressed up, two shirtless (top 1% body), all selfies, I could definitely optimize, but I dont feel like going through the hurdle of getting awesome pics. I do more than fine on Tinder btw, got a few girls in a fwb situation from there.

Tinder is a meat market, most girls don't read your bio unless you're hot and ugly girls get confidence from AFCs giving them hollow compliments all day making feel like they Paris Hilton.
If you have no expectation from the platform you'll feel no disappointment that's the tinder mantra

Doesn't matter how unattractive they are, they will get attention from thirsty low grade men with no standards giving them validation.
Swipe on the ones you like, message them wild things for the hell of it and if they cool and reply, quickly try to get them out of the app with their # as any conversation on tinder quickly loses steam and is on borrowed time

The reason why this happens is really as much guys fault as the girls.
What happens if someone get hundreds of options and likes on the very first day they make a profile because they're an even remotely good looking girl? Some of them will just not put in the effort. I mean why study for an exam if you can pass by just showing up?
And can you really blame them, i don't think it's a conscious choice to be "lame" it's just a consequence of the dating market being saturated with desperate guys.
