Do you think the "bad guys" in general are usually good looking as well?
[–]Therocksays2020 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I’ll put it like this. They usually believe they are good looking and that’s just as valuable.
[–]Mowgluai 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Lol yea that confidence is key, if you're in love with yourself a lot can go. God I think I'm attracted to bad guys and it sucks lmao, but they are good looking!

Bad boys are always going to intrigue women all the time because a bad boy presents a challenge that women need. Women need a constant challenge & somebody thats kind of a mystery. When women get married they settle down with the best providers they can get. The problem is they become too familiar with their husbands so things get too predictable & he’s too figured out by then and the game is over. But if a bad boy comes around it makes the wife feel “hmmm who is this guy?” again because the bad boy doesn’t a give a fuck about her and so it makes her feel like she can be a slut again because she knows he won’t take her serious anyway & won’t commit to her. But she likes it & it’s turning on parts of her brain that’s commonly dormant in marriages/LTRs.
She can start to play the game again but this time with a bad boy & she knows she shouldn’t do this but he just does everything so well & he puts her in a trance. Also, his pull is too powerful for her to resist him that she just gives in to him because he’s hitting all the “right places” very fast: her repressed sexuality, the chase & taming him/fixing him, the thrill of cheating with him, her emotions going up & down, his boldness, his indifference to her, memories of her slutty youth, horniness, his physical attributes, kinks, imagination etc.
Another thing is bad boys are hard to “tame” so it stimulates her emotions knowing that he’s gonna be a wild ride & bad boys exhibit spontaneous behaviors making him unpredictable, usually cold & has multiple sexual partners so it drives her imagination wild knowing all this about him. She can finally let her guard down because the bad boys know how to ‘hit all the right buttons.’ He’s always keeping her on her toes which is why girls are attracted to bad boys because they love an emotional roller coaster ride of a man, hot dirty sex & the way he doesn’t give a fuck about her and will just use her, girls find this so hot. She knows he won’t judge her for cheating or anything because he doesn’t give a fuck so he’s seen as “trustworthy.” Lastly, her age doesn’t matter nor relationship status applies here, the girl is still a girl & attraction is universal. She can be 18 or 55 if the bad boy is near her it’s over. Done. His allure is too good.
It’s not that women cheat it’s just that the Bad boy was just “too good” so it kinda happened.. But how to know all this? I have friends who are them bringing new girls every week of all statuses, all ages, it really doesn’t apply.

A little of both. Most prevalent in youth. Some grow out of it, some don’t. Similar to chronic immaturity or fear of commitment in men (and non-men).
[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
They are just attractive/good looking.
If they were ugly and short and had that personality then they will be met with hostility.
[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Lmao had to throw short in there
[–]VeliVoy 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I agree lol
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yes and no. Women between 25-30 start to “settle down” and try finding husband material.
[–]spiderSlayerr 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
It’s called nature. How women have always been since the dawn of time. Every women is secretly attracted to bad boys because they show dominance and bad boys aren’t afraid to do what they want when they need to. This shows they can be assertive and protective in the future. So if your a guy in early 20s you drive a nice car(manual even), smoke cigs, dress nice, have nice long hair, show dominance in general, act like your at the top and girls notice.

I don’t like bad boys bc the type I assume ur referring too would most likely be abusive, cheaters, or immature. No woman enjoys a mean guy.
[–]VeliVoy 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link
What kind of guys do you like?
[–]Emmy-bby -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link
I like a man, someone who will be there emotionally for me, think about me when he’s doing things like randomly picking me flowers bc they reminded him of me, someone who can be compatible with me sexually and someone I rarely fight with. As for physical aspects it might shock u but a dad bod is a must or at least a lil chunk and pretty teeth that’s it!
[–]VeliVoy 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link
That usually gets boring after a while, right? Do looks matter for you?
[–]Emmy-bby -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link
Looks don’t matter much and it’s never been boring for me I enjoy a chaos free life! Stress makes me physically ill so a man that causes problems will make me actually throw up 😬 I love getting the stupid little things like pretty rocks and flowers and having someone I feel comfortable talking to and joking with, without feeling like I’m walking on eggshells as to not upset him
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
You're starting to sound boring to me now. I would not go near you but am happy there are women like you to pair up with the boring men.
[–]Emmy-bby 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
I’m boring bc I don’t like fighting and toxicity? Me and my husband have a better relationship than you could dream of 😂 keep being toxic see you when ur divorced and have two kids to pay child support for. Toxicity won’t make a relationship last 👎
[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
I never said the T word, but you used it three times just then. I suppose you're not really reading my comment but further interpreting on it as a reaction. Anyway I found your comments boring about stress making you ill, and men who create problems make you throw up and picking up flowers and rocks etc. I think problems are a part of life and of being human and you sound way too fake to be interesting. People who are real interest me. That's just me though.
[–]Emmy-bby 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
My og post was abt bad boys he’s describing most likely abusive, cheaters, and immature so yes I was talking about toxic men to begin with, maybe you should read further into my comments smart guy. No one rlly cares if u found it boring, I told my experience with toxic relationships and that little things are what makes a girl happy and want to be with you long term.
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Bad boys aren't necessarily abusers or cheaters or toxic etc. Bad boys are just guys that are good in bed and have an element of unpredictability/challenge/dominance, that doesn't mean they break the law or abuse. They COULD be abusive/cheaters etc. But that doesn't mean they are.
And yeah no one cares if I think you are boring but you kept replying so it seemed like that was a button for you and you proved you do care about that.

would you consider yourself a nice guy
[–]VeliVoy 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Not really; I am outspoken and bold, which can come across as rude at times
[–]social_mastery 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Both. Typically girls that are considered to be more "toxic" are the ones that will go for the bad boys to compensate for a lack of strong father figure in their life.
As for age, after the age of 25, women start shifting their preferences to guys which aren't "Bad boys" anymore. Because as thrilling as it was, they know they get treated like shit every time.
So hopefully, they learn their lesson. That's the reason why they like mature guys the older they get. In most cases though.

Women want both kinds of men: Bad boys and nice guys Alpha males and beta males Leaders and followers Jerks and sweethearts
They want different guys for different needs. Women want the bad boys for sex (because their unpredictable and dominant nature makes them better in bed).
They want the nice guys for everything but sex (nice guys tend to be predictable and boring and even passive BUT they can also be funny and empathic and kind etc). Sometimes women will give the nice guys a bit of sex to keep them around but it's not enthusiastic sex.
How do women meet all their needs? They either cheat on the side with a bad boy while pretending to be faithful to the nice guy to keep him around OR they find a guy who is a mix of the best parts of a bad boy and nice guy, that is he is unpredictable and funnin bed and dominant but also kind and funny and empathic at times too.
When women are older their urgency for marriage and kids comes so they PRETEND not to be into bad boys so they can snatch up a nice guy for marriage. It's not that they don't like bad boys, it's just they want marriage and don't want to give off any impression they are sluts or that they are into bad boys so they can attract a nice guy partner for marriage.

How to be unpredictable?
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
Stop thinking about consequences when you make decisions and start following your heart/gut/desire on things. Be like an animal. Live boldly. Don't be a coward and constantly worrying and doing the safe thing in life. If you start living like that you appear unpredictable and interesting. E.g if you see a sexy women that has a great ass, go over and tell her that and look her dead in the eyes, don't waste a second thinking about how or others will react.
[–]VeliVoy 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Oh you want me to get slapped? 😂 I live in South Asia.
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
So you choose to be a nice guy OK that's fine but live with costs of that decision.
[–]VeliVoy 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I mean, going and telling an unknown girl's ass is nice is kinda the extreme even from a bad boy's perspective
No you're intellectualising. That's what nice guys do.
Caveat, it's good to critically think and challenge things but you're intellectualising is done so on an obvious fear and not actual studies of men's behaviour or research or even I bet on your own personal experience.
I can tell from talking to you, you live a very predictable life and generally avoid conflict with people and trying to fit in and be normal.
