I think your problem is not really about being Asian, but its just generally difficult to find stuff to talk about if the person you met is not from your social circle.

It is not a race thing. Everyone has a type, you need to find someone who is into Asian men. If you try to chat up someone who doesn’t find you attractive, it will be very difficult. Being a minority in a majority area can work in your favour as people like to try the different fruit.
Regarding what to talk about, just treat her like any other person and don’t make it look like you’re trying hard to impress her and you like her more because of her race

You can talk about literally anything, just try to see what here interests are and you can pick from there. Not really. I talk to asian girls about their culture and food and the cities etc etc and they know about my culture too. It's really really different from how you talk to a local australian asian girl with foreign asian girl. Tonality, attitude and the topics you talk about. Unless you've talked to all races and different cultures and had success pulling or closing you shouldnt even be talking

You telling me you sit down and talk about the Qing dynasty with Asian girls? Everyone has a past and interesting experiences from their past. If you’re not able to relate to a single experience a white personal has ever had, i’m guessing your entire personality revolves around your race and culture. He's not wrong. People with similar backgrounds often have similar upbringings which means similar gripes, childhoods, and other oddities to talk about. It makes it easier to bond than people with completely different backgrounds.
It's not impossible but I think the conversation becomes more forward thinking vs talking about life up to that point.

Talk about Aussie pop culture stuffs. The bachelor? Married at first sight? Love island? What about beach events/activities? Well, girls always love foods so gauge their interests about that for a possible date. If you aim for girls who seem like the type who only dates tall hunk athletic dudes, you won't have a chance unless you're tall hunk yourself.

But frankly you should be able to talk with them like you would anyone else. Their race does not dictate what you talk about with them.
