The only problem I have faced is this : You meet someone. You get in a relationship. Your FWB arrangement is over. Now do you tell this person about your history with your ex FWB?

Even very rational and accepting people have hard time digesting maintaining some contact with FWBs. So it's potentially jeopardizing your future relationships and friendship.

I have this same situation between a guy I will say is probably one of my best friends. We have fooled around but as soon as we sober up, he goes distant. I question why he won't just do it with me because it's inevitably going to happen at some point and he doesn't seem to have the words. I think if there is distance between the two of you and she's only coming for a few days, it is very possible to make it work. I think you have to be upfront and tell her all the things you said here. If my friend could say this, it would make the expectations clear and I have the choice to move forward or not to. Do you think you can have the conversation before you commit to her staying with you for a couple of days? That would be best. If you know you aren't going to go forward with it, best to not lead her on and have her stay.
