This, sometime I look at an attractive woman and the way she carries her self and think to my self: I wonder what she’s really good at, like hobby wise whether it’s singing, painting whatever it is that puts her in the zone
if you are good at humaning, im into you

Competence, fuck yes. I say this as a guy who tries to be great at everything I do. This doesn't mean saying long names makes you sexy, it just means approaching something difficult and overcoming it is innately an attractive trait.
Think about it, what's the difference between a weird, virgin basement dwelling neckbeard versus a successful, attractive positive and wealthy man? Its competence. The latter was competent enough to cultivate social skills, work toward a great job/education, overcome laziness by doing gym/grooming and destroy his negative mindset by achieving goals and having faith in himself.
So yes, competence is attractive.

I personally hold the belief that competence is the basis behind all of women's attraction to men.
Looks: taller, muscular, more mass. But not too much, and of course there's variance. These traits relate to competence because they relate to the ability to protect. Some women will acknowledge it and admit it, others won't.
Personality: leadership qualities, confidence, etc. All general indicators of competence overall. Weakness is bad.
Intelligence/wit: has a lot of value in providing, for obvious reasons. Also plays into personality.
Social status: Other people view you more highly. Kind of parallel to competence, in a way.

I would say yes, competency but not just I am excellent at counting taxes. Something other people cant do. Thats why sportspeople, musicians, artists, craftsmen are desireable, because they stand out, and most of all, they are seen doing so. If there were tax accounting olympics, the top accountants would be like athletes in desire level.
The real answer is humans base their hierarchies around competency, when it's not totally corrupted.
Assessing and playing with hierarchies is a very old part of the brain, so it has been at the very least : 1) useful 2) improved over time.
Even though an assessment of value is not real, and is a subjective point of view, if everyone believes it then it comes kind of true.
So take an easy exemple.
Five fishers on a deck, one boat. No other variables. Who should take the lead of the boat? The best fisherman that will catch the more fish.
Now a girl looking for a mate walks by. No other variables. Who should she choose? The best fisherman.
Obviously, there is a lot of shades of gray in all this, but it is true human behaviour and psychology at the core. A woman has more choice de facto, so she can afford to be more picky in mate selection, she will tend to let men play out the dominance hierarchy between other men and will pick the cream from one at the top.

We as a society value those who are skilled, like actors, and athletes, politicians, rich people (Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk), musicians, these people are well liked because they are skilled at something. Drive and money are very attractive to men and women, it means these people are good at things and society rewards hard work/excellence
Yeah, girls are turned on by clear sign of power, strength, intelligence. Merciless nature and moderate indecency are waking up their hormones like crazy.

Why is this a surprise? You ever seen a girl says, Oh this guy sucks at everything. I AM SO HORNY RIGHT NOW.
