Stop overthinking, it's all in your head. Just go with the flow. Say what you feel like saying. Do what you feel like doing. If you feel like flirting with her, getting closer to her, do that. Don't be afraid of what she/others will think of you. Don't have sex as the only end goal, but just a possibility. Focus on having good time.

After explaining a "odd" conversation I had with a couple, my brother explained that they had wanted me for something sexual. At 29 I had no clue. Sex and relationships were mostly just things in books and movies to me then, despite having friends and family in normal relationships. So like I do with anything that interests me I did research. Learning more than the textbook definition of flirting felt really strange to me. Finding out how abnormal I was in those regards made me panic a bit. I guess, much more than a bit. After some minor success, I stopped. I had to move to take care of my mom. Being a introvert I didn't have the energy to take care of someone and date at the same time. But now, after years, my creeping mortality has convinced me to try again. It still all feels so alien to me.

I also learned what ASD was. Not entirely unrelated.

been saying this in multiple places, and still can't emphasize this enough. It's not about being yourself, but about being "unappologetically" yourself. Don't give a fuck a about what she thinks on how you react. And for you: don't try cold approaches just yet. Find a hobby club around you (or join toastmasters if nothing), meet people there. That will be more suitable for you since you will have time to open up, get comfortable and things of high mutual interest.
