The worst part about it is that he hasn't been convicted of anything, yet here the article treats him like a criminal, revealing his real name, noting he has an address in Colombia but that "his current whereabouts are unknown". A public lynching of sorts.
I think the non-consensual audio sex recordings are what might have done him in, it's a legal gray area and it frankly was unnecessary. Same with the 17-year-old, that was pushing it. The rest is just moral shaming for sleeping with girls half his age. Hadn't he included those two things he probably would've been fine.
Funnily enough, the article goes on about "major tech firms supporting him". I mean, yeah, what else is there to use? I don't think there's a single dating coach out there that doesn't rely on them, or at least did.

Yeah, the PUA con works on selling a method anyone can do, but making it like only they have the "fool proof" way to do it. It also has to result in failure over and over so the marks keep coming back for more. If they did sell the truth, they wouldn't be needed anymore.
Having to hit on X amount of women just to find that tiny percentage that will say Yes is ridiculous. Huge effort for very low reward. All you have to do is go into life knowing that a guaranteed percentage of women will want you and just look for them looking at you.

Yeah he had hired that actress. I just liked that he gave realistic expectations of daygame. Also I really enjoyed his travel videos and podcasts on how to live a cool life. I could relate to him; he was a nerd who turned into sort of a badass. I would still watch his videos even if he stopped with the pua and just did videos on skiing (he's a skii instructor now).

The above Newsweek link has answered my question thanks. I'm a little disappointed as I paid for an hour of his time a few months ago but have been putting off the appointment. Messaged him recently and was surprised at the lack of reply then his site and YouTube accounts going down. He'll be back again I'm sure!

Not so sure myself. They basically nuked his streams of income. The only way he could is bringing back a website on a provider that is less strict and/or more resilient to pressure, but the whole YouTube thing is probably gone for good. And since he had basically retired, I don't think he's gonna bother.
