Be clear with your intentions with him. If you want him to do something put it into words and express it CLEARLY. A lot of guys are afraid of making girls uncomfortable by pushing too hard (especially when it comes to sex stuff) try having a moment to DTR an tell him what you are and aren't ok with in those areas. Let him know he can openly communicate his wants and needs to you and vice versa

Why do you think he's not telling me he how he feels? He's taking me to all these nice restaurants and places where he lives but he's not expressing himself. I have no clue how he even feels towards me

He either has a gf or he's married..
OR..
He's shy.

Or he is a smart creep.

I'm around his age. I'd say what you wrote above is probably what you want to say. Just have a conversation about how you want to know what makes him tick and what his thoughts about the age difference is. Let him know its not a big deal and you are interested in him.
If he seems to be playing it off or not being totally honest because he feels weird about it, just be direct. Let him know he doesn't have to be filtered with you. make the conversation about that, but keep it light.
Some guys his age will feel strange about the age difference. Its social conditioning and mostly bs. You can tell him that too if you like. Sometimes being direct will move things forward. Just be sure its collaborative and not combative. You don't want him getting defensive because he's uncomfortable. Just let him know he doesn't have to be.
Just as a side note, some guys are married and do lie to women about it. Not saying this guy is doing that ,but is something to keep an eye out for especially if he seems too secretive about his life. Otherwise, you may be a fun little side thing for him. Like I said, have a good direct conversation that clears everything up.

Yep. No way for us to know, especially with so little information.
Also, women who are so much younger are really flaky. Even if he's very interested, he knows she could change her mind and end everything the next day. For him opening up is dangerous.
He is old enough to be your father and he knows this is wrong. He could easily have "kids" your age.
You might want to pass on this guy for your own safety. You don't know much about him. He could be married. He could be a very sophisticated creep who has learned to let you come to him. Lots of unknowns.

You should just ask him yunno? He'd be honest with you. You are a woman, he isn't going to take you asking him the wrong way.

Easy.
Show him that you're serious about seeing him again.
You said he said he wants you to fly to see him..
Be 100% clear with your intentions.
Tell him you want to go see him and ask him when?
