Models has TONS of inner game info, and honestly is just a good read for a young man moving into adulthood.
[–]Toxik6 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
Probably a super dumb question. Models? I'm 26 btw lol
[–]612ouche 5 points6 points7 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Eh will shit I'm 24. Maybe "moving into adulthood", was the wrong way to word it.
"Magic Bullets" and other books are about girls. "Models" is more about you. It's decent, grab it.

Haha it's all good. I'll check it out. Seems to be a more long term approach from what I can tell. Magic bullets might be what I'm looking for. Thanks.

Yeah, just gonna depend what you want. Magic bullets is about lines, intentionally cutting girls down a bit so you can feel a little higher, etc. Models is about creating a lifestyle that is true to yourself, and socializing in meaningful ways with girls you like. To each his own..

I liked Models because it wasn't a sleazy or fake way of attracting women. I'd definitely come to some of the same conclusions as him by my late 20s, but he has some great insights and practical tips I'd never really considered.

I second David D'Angelo... I don't think his stuff gets enough exposure on here. Double Your Dating is short and sweet

Wow thanks! Perfect break down

Art of Seduction. For body language, Tracey Cox's Superflirt and Superdate.
Why didn't those 2 books you own impact you?
[–]Toxik6 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
It just seemed a lot of fluff. The game was cool story but that's all I felt it was. A story. And mysterys book was so confusing. The stages were crazy. I'll try models. Sounds more like myself. Being myself. Hmm not sure yet
[–]DaygameCoach 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Anything that is about "being yourself" will get you the results you currently get. The point is to push your limits and become your better self. Isn't models more about "investing in yourself" and being "honest" as opposed to being yourself? My advice is that whatever method you select (including Models), do it wholeheartedly. No picking and choosing or doing things halfa$$ed. And do a TON of field time.
Well luckily my job is sorta approaching people at bars anyways. I've been doing it for 4 years. So approach is easy for me. It's the flirting I don't get.

Ok, i recommended 2 body language books that will help. Practice teasing and banter too. PU101 has their banter deck on the internet for free...

Art of Seduction was amazing. Rober Greene will mess you mind up a bit.

The Manual : what women want and how to give it to them.
Models, as previously mentioned , by Mark Manson
[–]maximusvegas45 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I have only read the manual and it helped me a lot. About to start models. Is there a lot of overlap between the two books? And after reading the manual is it worth reading models?
[–]_Amr_ 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Models is more of a self improvement, inner game book that'll improve your lifestyle plus help attracting women. I would suggest you read Models even though you have read Manual. 2 solid must reads IMO.
As for the overlap, I guess all books have the usual common factors: self belief, outcome independent etc but still worth it.

I found The Art of Seduction to be an interesting read. I wouldn't call it a "how-to" title though. It's largely an analytic and objective discussion of what seduction actually is, but still very engaging.

INTRODUCTION - BOOKS YOU SHOULD READ
None of the books or guides below work, unless you put them to use and start approaching multiple women everyday. Two books or PUA may suggest conflicting ways of meeting women. That's okay, this is not a natural science branch. They both work in practice. Logic does not. Don't try to read everything in order to feel "ready" before going out. Read a chapter and go out to talk to strangers, come back and read another chapter. That is the only way these will work. The game is 1% books and 99% approaches.
All About Women - Giuseppe Notte : This book is helpful in reprogramming your opinions and values about men, women, what we want and what they want. Don't count on it for techniques though. Use for day game.
Double Your Dating - David DeAngelo : David DeAngelo's phenomenal book and viewpoint helps reprogram your values about attraction, and guides you in the right way to develop a cocky and funny personality that attracts women without having the good looks that you thought was required. This works in both day game, and bar game, additionally on the internet. [Continued...]
