Start with D&B. Skip the coffee, or do it second.

Agreed

Agreed, that way you can just have some fun together without awkward coffee talk.
I don’t like coffee dates, personally I find them weird. I would rather be active and having fun while talking than staring at a latte the whole time.

Disagree, much easier to leave the situation over coffee if she’s weird.

Just in case I have to, how would I leave the situation if she's weird? Just say "hey sorry, I actually have to go?"
[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Yes, while looking at your phone and maybe mention “something came up”

Got it, thanks man

I'd agree with your disagreement if it was a blind date....which he didn't specify.

Nah do coffee first. Gives you a chance to talk and build comfort, then she will like you more in noisy ass Dave and Buster's. Get drunk and make out with her in one of the curtained game booths. Easy bro, c'mon

Wow eh i was planning to take a girl to D&B this week, the one i go to is small and crowded but i think arcades provide so much opportunity for kino.
[–]dreamaboutdeath 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Hey man, that's pretty exciting that we think alike lol. Just out of curiosity, how would one initiate kino there?
[–]CeleryMan4D3D 8 years ago* [recovered] (2 children) | Copy Link
Im pretty much a beginner too, i feel like the arcade just lends itself to playful kino, arm jabs, hip bumps, etc. If she sucks at some game try to 'teach' her how to do it, just throwing out ideas.
[–]dreamaboutdeath 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Those are great ideas man for real, thank you! I'm definitely going to try this out!

No worries mang, lotta of these tips ive found from lurking here but also its good to observe what other couples do too.

I should add that i already met her for a coffee thing this week, we talked alot for 2 hours so i got the rapport to do something like an arcade, so consider that.

Sounds like you got it teed up pretty good all by yourself man.
If you do coffee first just keep the energy. "Man this coffee good!" "This place is so cool" "Can't wait to whoop your ass at air hockey in a little."
It's cliche but "Girls just wanna have fun," is true as fuck. You'll add the most value to her by keeping her energy up and having a good time.
[–]dreamaboutdeath 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Keeping the energy up is a smart idea, and teasing her is good too, and you're right I just gotta make sure we're both having a good time, playful competition.

This should be a slam dunk for you dude, post updates afterward.
Definitely will man, thanks for the help!

Start at D&B then coffee to talk about how much fun you had
[–]friendandadvisor 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
I asked if she wanted to get coffee, and then I remembered I have tons of Dave and Busters game cards, so I figured I'd ask if she wanted to go there. She said "either coffee or Dave and busters sounds AWESOME" so then I asked her if she just wanted to do both,
This makes it sound as if you are a retard.
Consider me retarded then cuz it got me a date.
[–]friendandadvisor 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I'll consider you double retarded, then. You already had the date, and were working to undo it.
[–]dreamaboutdeath 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Looks like my plan didnt work then, what would you consider so I can undo the date permanently?
