As I was walking back to my dorm at college, I caught eye contact with a girl I briefly met a few weeks ago. She was walking the other way, but she turned her head to look at me and smiled, so I thought I'd approach. I didn't even remember her name and I could find no playful conversation, I also had no reason to walk in her direction, she was going to the library, I was going to the dorm completely the opposite way, but I walked towards her at the junction looking like I was heading her way as well.

I had a good encounter with the same girl before but didn't close anything, I may have been playing higher value as I was quite busy. I think maybe I should have just gone for a #close and a 'see ya later then' this time.

This happens a few times actually, you see the same few girls at college every now and then, who just have no associations with your social group. But who you've had good banterous but brief previous encounters with, then the second time if you didn't #close at the first, what do you do? How should I play day game like this with random girls at college?
