There doesn't need to be a "suave" line for every goddamn interaction. Be honest with the girl. There's nothing more "alpha" than being upfront with your intentions. Tell her, yes, this is a date. Before I found seddit, I was always intimidated and thought if I was too forward, I'd scare them away. So I'd make plans, but it was never called a date. So they never were. It was just a fast-track to the friend zone.

True, calling it a date may cause some girls to pull back or reject, but they'll at least appreciate the honesty. I've asked out a ton of girls, been rejected quickly, and reminded on good terms with them regardless. Waiting months to tell a girl you like her only makes it weird when the rejection inevitably comes, and then maintaining a friendship from then on is awfully hard.

But it seems like you are cold asking her, the offer to hang out should follow something that actually makes sense, she seems to be double checking because you are asking out of the blue (your intentions are not clear)
