Lately, a lot of girls have told me me (and say they'll say specific things [e.g., my sense of humor, looks, leadership skills, etc.]), however, when I ask them out, they'll tell me that we should just be friends. Why is that and what am I fucking up?

This is probably to general to conclude something from just reading this, so I guess I'm just looking for general, big picture thing.
