Indirect unless you already got IOIs that she is interested in you.

In college you want to open indirect and ask for hangouts. Hangouts can mean a lot of things and everyone hangs out. College is a very free time and nothing has to be defined. It's all plausible deniability. You can just go to eat with someone after class. Nobody knows if you are dating, sleeping together, etc. If someone asks you always got an answer. "Who that? That's my study partner." "That's just my classmate we were hungry after class" "that's some girl I met on the way to class we're hanging out this weekend".

So you want to just come off friendly with a hint of interest and get numbers and hang out. Once you secure a hangout seduce normally. You can get a lot of meets with girls in college this way. If you don't like her once talking to her you also have a lot of excuses to leave. You have to get to class. You have to study. You have to meet your teacher etc.

Also don't be discouraged. College is a very flaky environment for this reason. People have things to do and if you aren't holding their attention they will bounce with the same excuses I gave you. It's no big deal. Go meet someone else. Text them again.

You are going about this wrong from the start IMO. College is a great place to pick up girls because it's insulated.

Be funny, be social, be manly and authoritative without being a dick. You want to focus on getting a large group of friends. Male and female alike. If you can do that a lot of girls will just fall into your lap even with even a B or C level game.

As much as girls say they don't like guys who are 'players' they don't hate them either. Also being on the radar as a player is MUCH better than not being on the radar at all. Dislike can turn to like very quickly and easily for women (as long as you don't treat them like crap).

You are crazy. Gaining a reputation as a player will only lead to more girls.

If in doubt, just flirt. Flirting is so good because girls don't really know what it means while you are creating a sexual atmosphere. You're both having fun and the girl is constantly wondering if you actually like her or if you're just a playful person.

Indirect. Most direct game is for newbies who have to get used to showing intent.

Indirect game shapes and trains you to be more subtle with your flirtation.

Think of a sample with 3 categories of girls: ones who’ll automatically like you, ones who won’t, the one ones who might - yes, no, maybe, respectively. Direct game caters to the sample of the ones who’ll automatically like you and doesn’t give you a chance to display high value because you’ve already given too much power away on the open.

What you want to do with indirect game is increase your value through the use of stories, negs, push-pulls, etc. while giving the girl an idea that the interaction you’re having has a man-to-woman premise and not just a stranger-to-stranger one.

I personally use push-pulls or observational openers depending on what I can come up with at the moment, if not, I use canned lines. They usually work but what you have to take into consideration is your delivery.

That's actually not correct. Girls want guys who are in demand. Particularly in college. The line of thinking you have is common, but often backfires. Guys who think like this try to "keep it quiet" that they get girls, but then they ultimately end up not getting that many. Guys who get girls and let it be known, get more girls. It's called preselection. Honestly, I’d rather someone be direct with me rather than indirect because sometimes being indirect can create a different perception
