Just try them and see what happens. As Julien says in SHIFT, try things infield and see what works for you. Ultimately you shouldn't be relying on techniques as they only help in the beginning to help you get a feel for what pickup is like.

Disclaimer: I suck at this. Last summer I read a little technique just for getting phone numbers. It's the one where you chat her up, find her name, make her laugh once or twice saying whatever the fuck it is, (pay attention now) tell her you liked talking to her but you need to get back to your friend group, she will probably say she liked talking to you too, say can I get your number so I can continue to talk to you. It worked the very first time I tried it, and twice more after that.

Pro-tip: actually save her number and name so you don't feel like an idiot when you see that you have a text to her saying just your name, and having no fucking clue of the name of the person you're talking to. I hate myself sometimes...

You did ONE approach and you gave up? Dude, there's no magic pill that's going to work on every fucking girl in the world. You're going to keep on getting rejected quite a few times if you approach a lot, it's just how it goes.

Also, the entire seduction thing is much more about practice. You won't magically get good at this shit. You gotta keep going out and approaching and trying out new things and you will slowly but steadily grow and get good.

Also not much point in studying from videos if you're not applying the concepts and trying them out.
