When cold approaching women and using impromptu openers sometimes I get the question: 'does that ever work?' or 'does this usually work when picking up women?' or something like that. While I can most of the time dismiss it and still hold their interest I was curious, does anyone have a witty retort they use in situations such as this?

I have tried to google this but it's kinda vague and doesn't get any results for what I want. I think I have seen alright responses to it in the past while reading.

I was debating whether is specific to MY situation or applicable to EVERY guys situation and came to the conclusion that I think it's common enough to just be a general problem for everyone and that most people going out have heard it before.
