I know the theory and what's best to do to not come off as needy, but I'm aware that my approach anxiety is so high that all that theory will go out of the window when I first start approaching and that I'll likely say needy shit just out of a result of feeling like I'm physically/mentally drowning in that type of situation. Like grabbing for a life-saving floaty while being in that anxiety. I just need to fucking approach. But I'm worried that I'll straight up say some goofy shit or be a nervous wreck and shaking just out of being nervous and not comfortable in a situation I haven't experienced before. Kind of like a baby learning how to walk for the first time. Should I just stop looking at theory and approach regardless of the result (even if I look creepy despite being direct or indirect, or even if I look a bit dodgy), and then maybe come back a month after regular approaching to then re-read some theory and start implementing it once I have a bit more referential experience under my belt? I literally feel like I just need to move my feet towards a chick outside and then once I'm there I need to improvise, even if I say some retarded ass shit that goes against the theory of "holding frame" and demonstrating high value. Because if I can't even approach, then what's the fucking point of knowing all this shit.
