It took me a while to figure out how to start this. Couldn't come up with anything. So, I'll get straight to the point. I'm stuck on this downward spiral of self confidence lately. I'll even go as far as to say depressed. Especially when it comes to my romance life. I got hit with what I call the "3 strikes" when it comes to genetics: short, small frame, and a baby face. You know how most women feel about those 3 in combination. I used to do pick up, had some success, but stopped because I felt like it was a crutch and wasn't really "me". My mind now continually justifies why woman wouldn't be interested in me (she knows she's bigger than me so she wont respect me, she wants tall guys, she'll probably reject you off bat because you just aren't an attractive guy, face it" etc. For those reading, I'm not some dude who just sits at home playing games all day. I'm a 2nd year in a doctorate program, work in a lab, I used to know how to dance (worked wonders when I did pick up in clubs), but im getting too old for that now. I go to the gym. Maybe not consistently due to school, but I go and work hard. Kind of hard to show since my frame is still small though. I have a social network. Basically, I try. I can't change my genetics, and women don't fall out of the sky. So if you all have any advice for me, I'd appreciate the help.
