Went out on a first date last night and it went well. She invited me back to her apartment and as soon as we walked in, she sat on the couch and started a movie. How would you guys normally escalate once invited back to a girl's apartment?

Things I tried last night:

  • Arm around her and held her close
  • Pulled her hair to the side and kissed her on the neck, but she would say "watch the movie" and moved her neck
  • I got up to go to the bathroom and when I came back, I went straight for a makeout, but she ended it quick

After being stuck for 2 hours watching that shitty movie, she said she was tired and wanted to go to bed. I followed her and finally fucked her. Any suggestions on how to fast-track the process?
