It's really easy to avoid coffee dates. I haven't had a coffee date for years. Your first problem may be saying "want to meet?" Try saying "come meet me for a drink tomorrow" instead.

If the girl is not 21 yet, I'd suggest somewhere other than a coffee shop. Find some cool local stuff to do, like an art gallery or something. There are also some coffee shops around my city that are more bar-like, serve beer etc, and have good couch-like seating that is conducive to kino.

All that said, the best tip for kino escalation in any seated situation is make sure you are sitting next to her or (my preference) at 90-degree angles to each other, preferably with your legs touching or very close. It makes it easy to work in kino during conversation. You don't palm reading or games to escalate kino, I don't do anything like that.

Don't do the second thing, though. Just be spontaneous and charming. You're gonna fail hard if you try and fake being genuine.

I'd never do either of those. Well, I'd maybe do the second one after I've already been kinoing. Just stick with normal kino. That kind of date without a venue change isn't much of a date, so I'd either avoid it altogether or pre-plan how you'd make a venue change happen.

I like the palm reading thing.

One that ALWAYS works for me, is while you're faking your way through the "life line" and "love line" you pick a random, obscure line and start giggling. When she asks why you're laughing you give her this little look of "you're so cute, it's sad" (if that makes sense) and say with a "See this? This is the retard line. You're a retard! Awwwww" and give her a hug. She will always laugh and return the kino, usually playfully pushing you away from the hug.

I have yet to find a girl it didn't work on, but I assume someone with a mentally challenged family member would probably failbomb.

Coffee dates and movies for getting into friend zone. Otherwise I would do lunch and pick a place that has great food, this is very important. If it goes well then next time meet up for drinks.
