My interactions with women have improved immensely since I started going to bars/clubs not just to pick up women. I'm fairly extroverted as it is so I'm in it to make friends and connections. If a connection is made with a cute girl I want to go home with/go on a date with, that's just an added bonus. Otherwise, I met cool people who might turn into good friends or acquaintances. Hell, just making instant friends w people improves social cred dramatically to women.

For me, expanding social circle > being overly thirsty. Women will come and go, a solid social circle will elevate you personally and make your life full. Besides, you're more likely to meet women via a strong social circle anyway.

I also found my interactions with women improved as I went to bars and nightclubs because I like the DJ's or the atmosphere. If you're listening to music you enjoy, that's gonna show in your vibe as you groove out or sit around drinking in the space around you.

I'm also prone to camping out at my neighborhood bars/coffee shops to write, draw, read etc. because that's my ideal environment for doing those things. Ideally, I always place myself in a space that has a bunch of traffic, like at the bar near the well or a table next to a main thoroughfare, not in the absolute back corner where nobody will see me or engage. You wouldn't believe how many people will make chit chat just because you have a book or notebook in hand!

All that being said, totally agree. Go out and enjoy yourself thoroughly and people will pick up what you're putting down.

How would you do this without coming off childish and friendzoned by girls your into? Usually the ladies would drop you as soon as your not as mysterious to them, like Cory Wayne in 3% Man

I'd have to disagree. I dated women and I "let myself loose" , and I got dumped.

You can't tell a woman you newly date how much you like/love her

You can't tell her how many girls you banged/bang

You can't tell her you love picking up women

You can't tell her you have a mental disease

So yeah, filters have their uses. Control yourself , be mysterious and don't be an open book...

Charisma and confidence don’t mean anything when you’re physically unattractive. Charisma means you’re likable and confidence comes from success or your positive experiences i.e. if you’ve never done something before or have never succeeded at it you won’t be able to have it. You can’t fake either of these and some people aren’t able to be charismatic.

Yeah I try to do these kind of things also. For me that’s more difficult because I’m a natural introvert. One thing that helps is forcing myself to have small talk with cashiers , waiters and so on. It keeps you in the moment and builds your charisma . It’s not always about picking up women . Things like this are a by product that help you with that and life in general
