There’s a girl in my class, we’ve barely spoken, but since the beginning of last semester every time we have class together we lock eyes. At first I didn’t think much of it, she’s really pretty so she caught my eye and I’d look over. I noticed that she reminded me of someone I used to know. I then tried to not look because I thought that it might be weird, but then I noticed that she was looking too. I got self conscious as to why she was looking, why would her eyes always find me in an auditorium. I started doing tests of avoiding eye contact, but she’d always be located somewhat near me when in we’re both in our groups, though often with her back towards me. She always sits in front of me, but when the class laughs at something I catch her looking back at me smiling. I can’t tell if it’s an invitation or just coincidence, but coincidences only go so far. I don’t know how to test the waters if I’ve just accidentally been creepy or if there’s more to it. Any thoughts how to test it out?
