Hey Seddit,

Just wanted to say thanks so much for a start; for the whole of my life (I'm 27), I've had a certain level of anxiety with just going up to women in a club and trying to pull them, which probably stems from some bad incidents I had with women when I was younger.

I've been reading up on quite a few things and am so keen to develop myself and get out there more; I watched Richard La Ruina's Nightgame video which has helped in leaps and bounds.

I went out last night solo to this local rock club, dressed up nicely instead of doing the whole 'rock' vibe, and actually managed to end up getting some serious amounts of IOI's (smacking my ass, looking at me and trying to dance with me) in response to me doing some crazy dances, leading to me actually getting off with a girl on the dancefloor. I know that probably doesn't sound like much but to me that is a massive win.

However, I missed a lot of opportunities because I didn't act on the IOI's which I saw towards me. I've seen that the best way to get in there is to act in the moment and just go up to them and say 'Hi, my name is NAILGUNSODOMY, how's it going?', but I guess what I'm asking is:

Do you guys have any favourite non-verbal connections once you've clearly established interest from a woman?

I know I also made the mistake in kissing the girl too long, and in the end her friends dragged her off when I could have gotten her number. Do you guys agree that you should keep it short and sweet as such?
