It's a numbers game. If she's playing hard to get (ignoring you, confronting you), just flirt with other girls and make her jealous. If she confronts you again, you can say the truth "You've been ignoring me all day, I figured you'd moved on, and now so have I!"

You're trying too hard. I say move on. Once she realizes she's not getting attention from you anymore, she'll be left wondering why. Make her be the one wondering "Why hasn't he called?" instead of you.

Notice how she immediately got defensive of you when you talked about her friend? Right now, she knows she has you on the hook. So stop texting/calling, stop talking, and just go after other girls. If she finally has the courage to ask you why you haven't called her or whatever, just say "Well, you gave me the impression that you just weren't interested, so I moved on."

Girl players are (sometimes) well-disguised attention whores. When you give her attention she is being satisfied by you talking to her and stuff. There are two steps to these kind of girls:

1) Make her see something in you she wants/create initial attraction (I think you've done this)

2) Make her work to get that what she wants from you. Don't give it up too easily, lol (I think you kind of are by inviting too much).

My suggestion is to bail, but still be friendly. Be flaky with her, don't always be flirty (sometimes be somewhat distant). Talk to other girls in front of her, and give them even more attention than her. Just give her what she wants (your exclusive, positive attention) sparingly to make it special. If you do this either 1 or 2 things, IMO will happen:

1) If she has an emotional investment in you (thinks you're cute, charming, hot, funny, whatever) she will miss your attention and start putting in effort to get that attention back (women will put in the work to get attention only if they have to, but they will). From this point, you are back in control. Give your attention sparingly and she will crave it more and more, until (hopefully) she's having sex with you to get what she needs.

2) If she has no emotional investment in you (doesn't care either way), she will not miss your attention and simply move on.

To be honest, #2 may very well happen. But the decision to lay off is still the better thing to do in either scenario. You can only control your action, not her reaction. And I really think playing hard-to-get is the best thing to do.
