OK I've only just started practicing my game and this is my first post here so forgive me if its crude and a bit long/boring. I want to know what i did wrong and right, where i should of stepped up my game and what not.

  • Today I had class at uni, I sat next to this cute girl and decided id try to open her

  • I seen that she had a really colorful pencil case so I said to the guy next to me "Hey man check out this pencil case". That got her attention and she looked in my direction so i asked her how many rainbows she killed to make that pencil case (Lame and stolen but it worked), she laughed and replied "7" *We talked a bit about what she did, she was an artist and she drew pretty well. She had an art book in front of her so i took a quick look at the page that was open. I tried a neg by saying "these are really nice drawings but do you have any with darker lines?". She obliged me by showing me a drawing that was more what i asked, I commented on how her drawing reminded me of Disney characters and she said that was her style. I said i had tried to draw and that i tried anime style but i was never any good. I ask her what games she had played (relevant considering the class we were in).

  • Eventually the lecturer got up and started to talk (this guy dribbled the most boring shit so i used it to my advantage). I got a piece of paper and wrote "Hey this guy is boring. What other games have you played besides spyro?" so we started to have a conversation through writing on paper

  • She had pretty short replies, like i was commenting on what she said then asked a question but she would just reply with an answer, nothing to follow up to continue the conversation. But she did keep laughing to herself and smiling when she read my replies so i took that as an IOI

  • I asked her "I'm not boring you am i :P", with which she replied "No, the lecturer is". I wrote "he likes the sound of his own voice i think" to which she said "maybe... DRAGON!". I didn't know what to reply to that, it was completely random so i just went with "DRAGON?! WHERE?!". She said "i dunno, you tell me XD" so i said we should go find one, it would be fun. That's when she drew this dragon on the page.

  • we spent maybe 15 minutes drawing things on the page letting this whole story unfold with just pictures about an army that tries to kill the dragon blah blah blah who gives a fuck. Anyway after all that i draw a little stick man holding a sign with the words name and number on it (for her to write her name and number of course) with a word bubble for the stick man saying "Here ye Here ye. The king requests your full name and number". She was responding well, smiling and laughing so i thought it would be no problem to ask like this but she only write down her first name and "i dunno" next to the number part.

  • I wanted to seem unaffected and cool that she didn't give it so i went for a smooth reply of "that wasn't your number" with a confused looking face. She replied "yeah i can't remember" and this is probably where i went beta (kill me now). I replied joking "humph, i can still remember my number ;D", attempting to bait her into asking for mine if she truly didn't remember hers but the comment could have been taken negatively. She replied with "What? it's not like i call myself..." (gonna say she took it negatively). I replied "well someone needs to call me, nothing wrong with calling myself XD" (trying to seem funny but probably coming off as desperate). She replied "well I'm not psychic either" with a frowny face, i couldn't tell if that was a sign for me to write my number down or not. So trying to keep my suave in tact i reply with "I am (referencing the psychic bit), think of a number between 1-10". I let her think for a second then write down 7, she replies with 21, i tell her that's cheating (verbally and jokingly) she laughs but after that I'm kinda fed up anyway so i turn to the computer I'm at and browse the web. I make it so i look that im no longer interested in her (Take away the attention), thought that might get her to try and get my attention which would lead to her number but she didn't. She did seem a little annoyed later (picking her book up and slamming it down, not to hard but noticeable to see something was bothering her, thinking maybe shes annoyed im no longer paying attention to her? i dunno).

  • After this we didn't talk for the rest of the class and she left without attempting to talk to me so i guess she was uninterested

But that's it, long and boring. What could i have done different? what did i mess up.

I didn't try any kino (still new and no idea how to put that into practice) and it seems kinda hard when your talking to each other through writing.
