I've been crushing on a girl at work for who knows how long. I've never had the courage to ask her out, just to have small talk. Today I said fuck it, and asked her out. I unfortunately got rejected (says she has a boyfriend), but strangely couldn't help but smile afterwards. I never escalate with women that I find attractive, so this is a pretty big step for me in becoming the confident man I aspire to be.
