After one year I finally broke off my oneitis. Eventhough I’ve had other girls in this period (And thank you Seddit for that) but yesterday I came ‚clean’. We got into a bit of an argument and eventually it came out that I always thought it was more than just than ‚friends’. She didn’t. So I cut it off, fully.I told her I cant be friends if I wanted more than just that

After one full year of hoping, fooling myself and fantasizing that it would become more than just friends, I can finally move on. There’s still a part of me that hopes I’m wrong saying to myself that nothing is ever going to happen, but at the same time I’m glad it’s done.

This is where the growth takes place. Thing is, even though I’ve been in this for almost a year now, I don’t know how to. Ive never really asked a girl out face-to-face, haven’t been on too many dates or approached that many girls. I’m hoping for an advice better than ‚Just fucking do it’ (It’s the same as „Hey man, be more confident!”)

Also, most of my pressure to better myself was because of my idealization of her and the belief that ‚one day’…. Now that is gone, and it’s hard to find that motivation

It bugs me that I haven’t asked that many girls out, especially face-to-face.

What advice can you guys give me?
