If you we're thinking I've been hooking up with models for a whole year, you're wrong. It has been much better.

Around this time last year I discovered the book 'Models' here, on r/Seduction. Now, this isn't probably that much of a shock to you, since probably 90% or /r/Seduction has read it already, but I wanted to use this thread as a way to reflect on how it has changed my life, and maybe, how it can change yours too?

What changed

Lifestyle When I started I was nothing really special. I mean, I don't have superpowers, I don't travel and visit 3 continents per year. But I did change in other, maybe not so big, ways. I started going to the gym, I've gotten big, and now I'm currently getting more and more of a sixpack. Gradually my discipline of going to the gym and eating healthy improved. Last week I was complimented alot on my body and my transformation. Talking about an ego boost there heh.

Porn When I was 11, I discovered porn, when I was 18 I found out I was an addict. Models didn't change my porn habit all at once, but it did help me discover my drive to do something else with my time instead of jacking off to some fake tits.

Doing the things I love Vulnerability, I truly love the concept. This year I started my own blog (It's Dutch btw) where I post self-written stories and anekdotes. Sometimes I even post more deep self-reflections about what drives me and how I reflect on my own behaviour. Also I started to love poetry, despite the stigma of being boring.

Vulnerable Talking about my goals in life used to be a hard thing to do, since I didn't really know what I wanted to do. Models inspired me to be honest with myself, and pursue the things that I love (as seen above) and something I'd really love to do is to write, to meet new, inspiring people, to act and to make people laugh with my own sense of humour. Those are the things I love and of which I can openly talk about. At first this was weird, not really hard but it was unusual. Now the strange feeling in my gut has dissapeared and I can talk freely about it.

Cut off my one-itis The naïve me thought that 'there maybe still was a chance'. Pathetic and idiotic. Cutted her off, didn't want to hurt my own feelings any longer.

What I need to improve on

Honest communication As I am currently re-reading the book, the third fundamental which is all about honest communication is the part I need to improve on. Sure, I can kiss a girl I don't really care about, but the girls I really like is where it gets hard. I can talk to the girls I do like, keep us both entertained, but when it comes to express my emotions about her freely, is where it gets hard This bugs me. A lot. I need to be more honest with the women I do really like, before it backfires and I ruined my shot.

Last thursday is a great example(you can see this as a more practical example to see what I mean), when I had a party of some people from school, where I did know like 50/50 of the people. From early on I was the guy who brought the laughter, doing karaoke, talking to people I don't know yet etc. You get the picture, right? There was one particular girl I did have a few flirts with on parties before. From the start, we hitted it off with karaoke and she gave me some indications of interest. I didn't really escalate so the night went on and her (really) drunk friends where about to leave to go out. I did say goodbye to her, but it wasn't that much interesting. I noticed one guy (whom I didn't really know, either if she was dating him or just a classmate) with her. They all left to go out. Unfortunately I couldn't come since I had to get the last bus home. I didn't escalate or made a move at all. I might get another shot with this girl, but I do need to be more open with my emotions.

Maybe some of you have experiences with this that can help me with it?

Escalating Maybe this is a subparagraph of the above, but it is one of the things that I have a problem with, since I don't really know how to.

Scarcity based mindset I live in a rather small city, and there aren't as many girls as I'd like to. Models has encouraged me to go on my own, but so far I'm still having trouble finding a place. Because I'm still living here I still have this scarcity based mindset, although it has shrunk since I'm away much more. Something I am going to improve on.

All of these issues are related as you can see. If you've experienced the same problem, and willing to give me some advice, please do!

Models didn't change my life. I did. Mark Manson encouraged me to improve, and so I did. It didn't magically happen all at once, but gradually I've improved.
