Don't take everything she says seriously.
Only care about her opinion (I'm assuming of you) when it matters. Remember she's dating you so her opinion of you is already high. Don't ruin it.

We've all been through it. My first date was one of the most awkward experiences of my life. I think the real trick to making a date go smoothly is not caring what the outcome is and just having fun. Of course, it's really tough to adopt that mindset when you've never been on a date before. So my advice to you is to go into it expecting to crash and burn. Then any part of it that does happen to go well will be a bonus, and maybe you can relax and just enjoy it.

Trust me, she's just as anxious about it as you. She has absolutely no idea what to do or expect as well.

You could just acknowledge it like "Hey, this is a bit weird isn't it?" and start off talking like that.

If she says anything that you'd take seriously that could be an insult, assume she's making a joke, laugh a bit and then give it right back to her the same way. Don't be insulting with it though.

You need to have a play for when you get to her house. If you want to make out or whatever, be sure you're getting physically close with her throughout. Absolutely sit next to her. If she just goes for the opposite side, after a few minutes, say "Hey, come over to this side." She'll do it. Be sure to have a backup plan like "hey, i know all these hilarious youtube videos" or something.

You'll do just fine.

17 y.o here, let me put this in simplest terms:

Upon arrival, greet her with: 'hey gorgeous' and maybe a hug!
Say: 'lets grab a table', choose a table for you two, do not ask her: 'soo where do you wanna sit?'
Once comfortable, you can kickstart the conversation with: 'so tell me about your day, love'. Let her rabble on a bit, if she doesn't have too much to say, start telling her about your day, be prepared with 1-2 things to say
From here, the conversation should - like BlissfulReverie said - be flowing naturally. At this point there is no reason to be stressed as you've covered all the bases of a solid start to a date.
If you ever find yourselves at an awkward silence, stare into her eyes and say: 'gosh, your awfully pretty' OR 'damnn, you've got beautiful eyes' - depending on your style, this direct compliment could be anything to your taste. She should be blushing to that.
From there, pick up another cool thing you did today, then let it flow.

Well everyone is telling you to not take this too seriously right? Well what can I say that will let you be able to do that.

If you're on /r/seduction you are well aware that women like a man who is confident. That means if you take her too seriously you aren't confident.

If you're nervous around women, you still have tomorrow to hit the mall and kill that anxiety by getting shot down a bunch of times. Actually - this isn't a half bad idea! Go to the mall, find women you're attracted to, approach and go ahead and ask them for dating advice, let them know about your date on Thursday, what do they like a guy to do, what do they hate (If they are older, take their advice with a grain of salt). If you can make the interaction about how to improve and not about how trying to win her on your side this would probably be met with great success. Even mention what feed back this g/f of yours has given you. I wouldn't let the interactions go too long maybe 5-10 minutes unless it is really working out. Make sure you have a small list of things to ask. If you're in a store you can ask them about style you should wear, hair, the works! If you can convince them you are legit they will start getting into it, because women love to "fix" men like they are going to make the world a better place.

It sounds like this would be nerve racking as hell to you! It will be. But if you can commit to and approach 10 times, have a 5-10 min conversation, take a break, reflect, write down some notes, repeat - it will make your date on Thursday significantly easier. As well as give you some practice holding a conversation.

Now I know that it can be really demotivating doing the first 10 approaches. Especially if the first few go sucky, but it is the only quick cure to not take someone seriously.
