First date ever. Met online. Help?

What do you like? Art? Music? Sports? You need to do something you like to do, that way you will feel comfortable and be able to talk about it and talk about some interesting shit. NYC is a godsend for dates.

This is what I do when I need some date ideas, pick up the weekender newspaper and find something that sparks my interest or something that I know will be fun for her and me.

I don't like coffee and I always do a cafe near my place. After 45 minutes or so if it is going well, stand up and say "let's take a walk." Then I stop by my place to drop of my stuff. Once she's inside I offer the tour and hopefully she no longer cares that we were going on a walk.

Also matrix2000 is spot on about doing something you like.

Ask if she wants to walk through the park ? Go to a coffee place and just get a smoothie or something?

If you've never been on a date before it could honestly be kind of awkward, but I've been on tons of dates and still have an awkward one every once in a while. Sometimes you just don't really connect. Just ask more questions than you answer. Every time she answers one of your questions, ask something else based on what she told you about. Ask about her interests and see if you share any then talk about things you enjoy similar to her.

Don't even worry about trying to kiss her at the end or anything, one less thing to stress about. If things go well, tell her you had a great time and want to hang out again. If things don't go that well, it's just someone you met online, delete her number and try again. You'll get a little more confident and hopefully feel more comfortable next time. Good luck.

Your first date ever, you met online, and you have 24 hours to prepare.

If we're being honest, odds are this is going to end in "failure", in terms of not growing into a successful relationship. I would accept that possibility as soon as possible and look at this as a great learning opportunity and step forward in life towards meeting women.

Relax, have fun, be yourself, and afterwords analyze what worked and what didn't. Become a better person and have a better date next time, regardless if it's this girl or someone else.
