The longer you take to message a girl you met at night the more likely she is to forget you or lose interest. You could have said call back humor, some inside joke about something memorable that happen that night, such us: “They should have given us an award for best dancers last night”.

either way, you probably took too long and she is unlikely to want to see you again anyway and unlikely to entertain the conversation much.

Even if you cannot come up with anything tus better to say “hi just wanted to say I have fun meeting you, i would like to see you again over a coffee”

Your paralysis by analysis will lose you more girls than saying something boring.

You are very late. Overthinking won’t help you. Anything that happened that night with a light pun is more than enough. Next time propose that plan while iron is hot and next day is just confirming and organising.

Just continue a conversation you had with her last night to start.

I like to send a message like this...

"So it turns out that couple we saw last night were actually cheating with each other. One of my friends knows the girl.

(my name)"

And then have a bit of an exchange about that before transitioning into setting up a date. Feel free to ask me how I would go about that and I'll explain in my reply.

But the reason I want to start out like that is that I like to reinforce the connection.

A message like, "Hey, it was awesome meeting you...." is more of a reminder that you're a stranger, whereas continuing the conversation like my example above reminds her of how well you connected last night and allows you to continue that momentum rather than practically starting over.

Yeah if it’s been since last weekend I’ll be surprised if she even responds. Numbers from the bar are super flaky so try to text the next day
