Flirting is about exchanging emotions, not exchanging information.

The most fundamental thing about flirting is that it's an attitude. It's a DECISION that you're going to have a fun conversation, keep things light and playful, and go beyond something just boring and logical. Boring is the worst thing you can be on a date or an approach.

Flirting is giving a woman a hard time in a lighthearted, playful way. Teasing her about something not to personal. Disagreeing with her. Playfully scolding her. Misinterpreting what she says as overly sexual. Things like that.

This tension keeps the conversation from becoming too predictable or routine, which can lead to disinterest. Without tension, conversations tend to be flat, lacking emotional highs and lows. When you go up the rollercoaster, you are building tension, until the tension is at an absolute peak where you are so tense because at any second you might fall down and might die. Then the release happens, and you start going down screaming. Once you’re at the bottom, you feel relief to have survived the fall and can relax. Attraction works just like an emotional rollercoaster. If you talk with a girl in a playful and escalating manner and she likes to be part of the conversation, you are flirting. If you make jokes, if you are playful with her, if you look at her and wink, if you touch her while talking... all these things mean that you are flirting. Now here is a catch, because without escalation you are just a funny/friendly guy, but if you use escalation she will either stop you (if she is not interested in such a relationship) or maybe she says nothing, and in this case you have to try and see how far you can get.

Thats a joke (worked on my ex though), in all seriousness, idk much but I feel like just challenging something she says with the right mood/tone, "oh yeah?" "I dont believe you".. idk I feel like there are actual terms like those that most guys say a lot when flirting but idk any more (I'd love to hear some if people know more), obviously vibe is what matters.
