Flirting is expressing sexual or romantic interest in the other person, in this case in a woman.

Push and pull is not flirting, it’s just a technique to get women on a playful vibe which can make it easier later to start expressing romantic/seixal desire for her without making her go defensive.

Push and pull therefore is used sporadically to spice up the conversation but it is not a one trick that should be used over and over throughout the conversation because it feels weird and robotic.

Seduction requires balance and not just relying on one “trick”, because it’s the whole thing. A push and pull would for example be saying something like:

“You know i don’t think i could ever have something serious with you, because you are too damn adorable and i might get too obsessed”

Note that a statement like this requires saying it the right context, it would probably not make sense to say this right away to a total stranger that you barely talk for less than 2 minutes, but it would make sense once she has shown a lot of investment and she seems to like you and flirt a lot.

That means that you cannot simply copy-paste these phrases and using them randomly at the wrong time or context.

That’s why you should study seduction in a holistic way, and not just cherry pick one or two random techniques here and there without having any clue of when or even if the conversation actually requires this type of phrase or technique.

Practice it on dates with zero pressure. I look at flirting as a state of play. Tease,make jokes, look at them sexually,smirk,eye contact,tell stories,be interesting. HAVE FUN

In my insignificant opinion push / pull and all that weird shit are what I call 'games' and I have no time for them. I don't play games with anyone, and I demand the same treatment in return. Simplifies absolutely fucking everything.

So no, it is not necessary. What is flirting? No seriously. I don't mean it in terms of 'what actually is the universe, man' I mean have you thought about it? In my opinion, it just means saying or doing things that another person finds attractive. Weirdos interpret this to mean manipulating big feelings out of someone with strategies like push pull. I interpret that to mean becoming an attractive person and then just enjoying myself.

I don't need to do anything special. Girls will find me attractive or they won't. I'm a big fat geezer these days, but I have every challenging aspect of life by the throat because I have spent literally decades building this. So how do you want it? You can manipulate the most naive women on the planet with silly games until you are literally too old and sad for it to work anymore, or you can grow the fuck up and build something worth being attracted to.
