If you missed last week’s tip, check it out here.

Just the Tip

Stop reading new material. That’s it. Start going out or rereading material you’ve already read.

Note: I’ll define material as ebooks and seminars and the like. Reading Seddit posts and field reports is cool and helpful, I’m more referring to things like Magic Bullets or the Blueprint.

Why this can be beneficial to you

The way we primarily learn things is through feedback loops. When you go to a bootcamp one of the primary reasons people say they improve is because they get constantly thrown into set while also getting constant feedback in field. One of the easiest ways to create your own feedback loop, a way that is often overlooked, is to read something, go out and apply it to the real world and then review the same work again for feedback (instead we’re conditioned to allow others to give us feedback via grades, criticism, etc).

When you read [for example] Magic Bullets, then Mystery Method then watch the Blueprint and continue to watch new stuff as you progress it definitely helps… but you could be getting more out of it. Most people get overloaded with information just reading one of these works so piling it on really doesn’t do all that much. Instead, reread what you’ve already read. You’ll re-enforce what you’re doing correctly and I guarantee you’ll find plenty of little things that you missed the first time around.

If you do this with everything you read in PUA (or life really) just once (read everything twice) you’ll get way more out of every book, post and comment. Depending on what it is you may even want to go back a third or fourth time...

*but please make sure you’re applying this stuff in between reading material. Don’t KJ it up and just reread shit without going out. *
