A lot of guys have a very hard time after they break up with a woman. I used to be in that boat in the past. Of course you are going to hurt when someone who you love and care about leaves your life, that is normal.
What isn’t normal is that you are destroyed and feel as if your life is going to end when a romantic relationship ends. A lot of guys act this way because of lack of options.
They don’t now when they will meet another woman and if another woman will ever like that which really comes from an inability to meet other women. Once I got the skills to go out and meet other women I never worried went to a place of deep depression over a breakup.
Of course I was hurt but I get over break ups relatively quickly because I know I can go out and meet other women whenever I want to. Here are 5 steps that will help you get over a breakup fast.
First Step – No contact with her for at least 3 months You need to go cold turkey once a relationship with a woman ends. Delete her number if you have to. It will help you from being desperate and needy.
You will also heal faster. If you are keeping in contact with a woman who you are still hurt over that wound is going to take much longer to heal.
If it’s meant to be after three months of no contact then so be it but when you are still hurt you are more than likely not to display your most attractive behaviors.
This will push a woman away even further from you and kill any chance of ever getting back together.
Second Step – Get rid of all memories of you and her Delete all the pictures from your phone and social media that you have of you and her together. Also throw or give away any gifts she may have given you during your relationship.
If she got you a really expensive gift just put it away out of sight or let someone borrow it for a few months until you heal. Having memories of her will trigger emotions that may cause you to be desperate and needy and trust me when I say that will her away.
That may also cause you to keep pursuing a woman who just isn’t good for you, I mean you guys did breakup for a reason.
Third Step – Give Yourself A Week To Mope There is nothing wrong with feeling sad or depressed about a breakup. Mope around the house, watch a shit tone of movies (I recommend comedies during this time period), eat the junk food you like, etc.
Give yourself a week to do so then pick yourself and do the next step.
Fourth Step – Connect with your guy friends Go hang out with your boys and watch a football, basketball, baseball game or whatever sport you are in. Grab a beer, just chill with your boys and have a great time.
If you have cool guy friends that will help you take your mind off of your breakup. When you are with them don’t talk too much with your guy friends about the breakup as it will make you think about her.
Vent a little bit to your boys and then after that just enjoy being with them.
Fifth Step – Go out and approach new women Meeting new women is the fastest way to let your brain know that there are other options. After a breakup the mind tends to play tricks on us.
It will act as if the woman you broke up with is the only woman that we are meant to be will and that she was your soulmate. That’s BS. Once you start to go out and meet women you realize that there are a lot of attractive women in this world.
If you put yourself out there you will realize there are a lot of attractive women with the qualities that you like and that will 100 percent help you heal much faster.
