First number close of the night:

Friend (Lets call him David) was doing the approach on this one. Was not pre-planned, he is not versed in the game/seddit/seduction. This was at a well known club in dtla

Was moving from the smoking area to the downstairs bar to grab a drink. Friend approached a two set at the bar, HB#1 and HB#2. I could see he was mainly concentrating on his target HB#1 while HB#2 was sort of left hanging. I went up to the bar to salvage the situation. Opened with "I see you have met my friend, David here." Hi's were exchanged. David then points to me and says "This is my friend Clutch." (My friend does intro me with my pua name). This always piques their interest...as obviously most people do not have a nick/stage/pua name. HB#2 now is intrigued (which is the point of the wing...to distract the extra girl/obstacle so the person who approached first can iso his/her target).

HB#2: So what kind of name is that?

Me: It's my stage name.

HB#2: So what do you do?

Me: (in sarcastic tone) I'm an Illusionist (I make the corresponding magic fingers gesture...gets a laugh).

HB#2: So what is your real name?

Me: It's only been 2 minutes, I don't think I know you well enough yet.

HB#2: Well my name is "Chloe" (She put up her fingers and did a quote mark).

At this point I order drinks for me and David, while the girls already had ordered and got their drinks. Also started to fluff a little bit (talked about where she was coming from that night, etc). All throughout this convo, I've been running some light kino...touch on shoulder, touch on arm/elbow, arm around waist, all of this with only a few seconds then pull away/push off from me. I also had positioned her back towards her friend so she could not really catch her friend's eye who is talking to David. However he probably hadn't done very well with HB#1, so HB#1 tapped HB#2 on her shoulder and wanted to go upstairs and dance.

HB#2: Well we have to go, my friend wants to go upstairs and dance

Me: Okay, I took out my phone you seem like a pretty awesome person I'd like to get to know more, give me your number.

HB#2: hesitates I don't even know your name yet, and you probably don't remember mine...so whats my name.

Since remembering names is my major weak point...I had totally forgotten the girl's "fake" name by now.

Me: You never gave me your real name...I don't make it a point to remember fake ones.

HB#2: You mean "Chloe"?

Me: Yea whatever that was.

HB#2: Okay inputs her number and her name

Me: Okay [HB#2], nice name. dials it

HB#2: So whats your real name then?

Me: I'll enter it into your phone so you'll remember it.

HB#2: Hands over her phone

Me: *Enters it in as [Firstname] Illusionist. I'm [Firstname].

HB#2: Hi [Firstname]. Peaks at her phone and sees Illusionlist and laughs.

Me: Okay I'll see you guys later, I'll text you later.

HB#2: We'll just be upstairs, maybe we'll see you.

Me: K bye.

Talked with David afterwards and apparently he managed to #-close HB#1 when he saw me in the process of #-closing HB#2.

This process took only about 5-10 minutes.

Texted her the same night with: "Whats up HB#2." She replied with "Hi"

Texted her back the next day, she replied, a solid #.
