Got off work at 4pm today. Decided to just walk around, go to the park, relax and unwind. I ended up approaching more girls than I expected. I approached a couple on the street and then I got warmed up, I started just going into a bunch of sets, set after set. I got blown out A LOT, it was crazy. I approached everywhere, in the park, on the street, girls sitting down, even a couple pairs of girls, in clothing stores, in coffee shops, in the bookstore. It was crazy. But at the very end I managed to do an approach and set up a firm date. Here is how it went down:

I was in starbucks, went upstairs, saw a couple of people just sitting down, no one was talking. Spotted a girl in the corner, fairly cute, I decided fuck it, let's go. I walk up to her, sit down across from her and say "hey I have a question for you, would you rather go to starbucks or dunkin donuts". She said starbucks, I joked around about how expensive starbucks is. We chatted about that for a bit. We then talked about her major, she's in law school, she seems pretty smart and I was interested about law so I asked questions about the difficulty of law school, etc. Seemed like a pretty solid conversation, I asked where she would wanna live after she graduates. I make more jokes as we talk, she said probably right here, so then I joke and say "aww, no cali?? no new york city??" was a fun conversation. A bit after that I went to setting up date plans, I suggested we grab coffee, she said something like "I don't know I'm not really a dunkin person haha" so I just said "it's all good we can just get starbucks". I feel like that was me getting owned right there, I think after that I asked what her schedule looks like, she said she's busy this weekend, but next week she's open. I tried to go for monday, I believe she gave me some sort of excuse, don't really remember. But that was actually good because I realized I'm working monday, so I switched it up to tuesday, she said sure. I said alright tuesday at.. 2pm, she said "we'll play by ear" (what does that even mean??). Not sure if that means I got owned or not, so I took the number and texted her right there. As I was taking the number and chatting at one point I said "... so what day did we agree on?", she's like "tuesday", so it SEEMS like she believes it's on too. I think her train of thought was "oh gosh are we really setting up exact concrete plans?". She got my text, I saw it on her phone. I chatted a little more, said maybe we could meet at this starbucks right here as like a conclusion, then I bounced. I said see ya then and I think she said "nice meeting you". Not sure if this means anything but to ME it seems like I was able to set up a firm date. I have no idea what she's thinking though, she didn't tell me no or anything so that's a good sign I guess, it's just that she didn't seem as confirmed about it, almost as if she half wanted me to leave already. Or maybe I'm over thinking this. Either way I'm going to just go through the weekend and tuesday morning send a reminder text with the location and saying 2pm. She knows I saw her get the text and she even said "got it" so if she ignores my message she'll feel like a dick which means she'll be less likely to ignore it. But anyway, enough with the mental masturbation, from what I believe now I have two firm dates set up next week, let's see how this rolls out.
